Great Job Dance and Choir representing COFA at the kick-off assembly. Our ranks have really been replenished since school started with 239 new members and a total of 640 active members at Sunny Hills. Including our alumni that maintain their connection with us, there are 861 receiving our communications -- I want to warmly welcome our new members.
Help us continue to spread the word, especially to our incoming freshmen artists/performers about COFA and how to join (go to cofasunnyhills.net and use the "join" button).
This year's production will take place this week on August 22nd and 23rd in the PAC starting at 7pm each night. Tickets will be on sale at lunch in the Quad and at the PAC on show nights and online at shhsca.booktix.com. Support COFA-Theatre and get started early on doing your events for the Laureate award. This is a great way to get the year started with your first COFA event.
Calligraphy Sessions begin on Monday, 9/10 at 3:15p in room 137!
This year's focus will be a return to basic Roman lettering with the chisel pen, and chisel paint brushes and poster lettering taught by David Mark from the Southern California Society of Calligraphers. These count as COFA Events
